Woodbank is surrounded by
some of the most stunning
scenery in the country.

Situated off a rustic old road just outside the fashionable village of Shankill in south county Dublin, Woodbank is surrounded by some of the most stunning scenery in the country. The Dublin Mountains – with its meandering walks overviewing the capital and its bay – provide a wonderful backdrop to the development.

Within walking distance of the coast and close to Killiney beach – Ireland’s “Bay of Naples” – Woodbank is only a short drive away from the idyllic village of Glendalough, as well as Powerscourt Estate, home to the highest waterfall in Ireland, and the Glen of the Downs, all of which provide perfect days-out for families and other residents. The Sugar Loaf mountain, beneath which nestles the Avoca Store and Cafe, is also nearby.

Buildings of architectural and cultural merit within, or close to, Shankill include Shanganagh Castle, Rathmichael Church and Puck’s Castle.

Transport Map
Unsurprisingly, there are numerous transport options in the area. Woodbank is just a two-minute drive from an M50 interchange, which offers north and south-bound access for drivers. Furthermore, it is within easy reach of Shankill Dart station, the Cherrywood Luas stop, and is also served by the reliable 7B, 145, 84 and 45A bus-routes. The Aircoach stops in Shankill, providing Woodbank residents with a speedy and relaxing way to get to Dublin Airport.
The area's top-class transport infrastructure provides residents with easy access to nearby towns and villages, as well as the capital. To the south, the busy shopping town of Bray is just a 10-minute Dart trip away, with picturesque Greystones only one stop further. Plush Dalkey, with its elegant shops, restaurants and pubs (and famous residents), is a mere 15 minutes down the road, while those "darting it" to Dublin will enjoy a 30-minute ride into the capital. The M50 motorway and N11 will take commuters into the city in just over 20 mintes, and the LUAS provides a smooth, hassle-free means of journeying to St. Stephen's Green, as well as locales along the scenic Green Line route.
